The Business Intelligence Developer is an experienced software engineer responsible for leading the discovery of hidden knowledge about a business with a global team.  The Business Intelligence Developer delves into the recesses of large data sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data to discover insight about a business and to develop methods to leverage that insight. This individual is the central point of contact for client technical issues and requirements.  The Business Intelligence Developer ensures proper training of the business intelligence team with regard to technologies and the context for specific projects.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, build, and deploy BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
  • Create effective and actionable dashboards.
  • Responsible for the performance and usability of the business intelligence system.
  • Perform optimization of MS SQL queries and packages to ensure top performance.
  • Participate in the design, development, and analysis of data architecture and warehousing approaches.
  • Perform business process re-engineering on existing reporting and analytics and leverage new technology to create better ways to analyze and act on data.
  • Understand the business objectives and be able to articulate their needs into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Develop processes, procedures and training for end-users to facilitate the efficient use of reporting tools and applications.
  • Participate in change management discussions and adhere to all change management policies.
  • Help the business be more competitive and own the analytics that supports them.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Three years work experience as a Business Intelligence Developer.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent degree preferred.
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
  • Experience with the Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSMS, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS).
  • Data modeling skills (normalization and star/snowflake schema).
DEMONSTRATED SKILLS
  • Experience leading Business Intelligence teams and architecting BI solutions.
  • The desire to continually learn and enhance software development skills.
  • Leadership and passion for training and coaching new and developing software engineers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with clients and global software development partners.

The Test Automation Engineer, also known as a SDET or Software Development Engineer in Test, is an experienced, mid-level Software Engineer who designs and implements automated test solutions and processes for all development requirements of the QA Team. This individual is primarily responsible for software development and maintenance of test automation systems.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leads initiatives in the design, development, configuration, and maintenance of software testing and automated systems to support Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) delivery models.
  • Designs, codes, and debugs a variety of automated related software features and tools.
  • Designs and executes tests for cloud-based applications and services with the goal of providing proper test coverage.
  • Implements and maintains testing frameworks and solutions for software products.
  • Reviews product requirements and specifications and recommends improvements to ensure product testability.
  • Recommends areas of applications and services where automation would be beneficial.
  • Recommends tools and technologies and educates the team on these tools.
  • Remains current on software testing best practices and industry trends.
  • Monitors automated test systems to detect and root cause production errors.
  • Works with the software development team, QA Lead, and Project Managers to ensure that testing deadlines are met.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience of 4-8 years in a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in object-oriented test automation.
  • 4+ years of industry experience testing software.
  • Working knowledge of Java highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of the following test automation frameworks is highly desirable: Rest Assured, Selenium, and Appium.
  • Working knowledge of performance testing tools, such as JMeter, is highly desirable.
DEMONSTRATED SKILLS
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-based applications.
  • Strong knowledge of software test automation and QA strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and to be self-motivated.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to coordinate and organize a high volume of information.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

The DevOps Software Engineer is an experienced software engineer responsible for designing and implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems for deploying applications to the Cloud by leading the DevOps effort of a global team. This individual is the central point of contact for client technical issues and requirements. The DevOps Software Engineer ensures proper training of the DevOps team with regard to technologies and the context for specific projects. The full spectrum of the software development cycle is used to define and scope requirements, architect and design a solution, prototype, code, test, deploy, monitor, and document.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Architect and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems for deploying applications to the Cloud that are robust and scaleable.
  • Provide leadership and direction for a global DevOps team.
  • Represent the company with clients, responding to requests in a timely and efficient manner and coordinating delivery of software.
  • Maintain and evolve successful partnerships with clients.
  • Work with the leadership team to measure team progress and provide input on the direction and team composition to most effectively deliver to evolving client needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience of 4-8 years in a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience with AWS or Azure and Docker.
  • Experience with Relational or NpSQL databases.
  • Experience developing in C# or Java applications a plus.
  • Work in source control using tools such as Git.
  • Experience working in Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through continuous delivery to production.
  • Experience with automated configuration management tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible.

  • Experience leading DevOps teams and deploying complex software to the Cloud.
